Direct answer: corporate sharing is a shared bike fleet for the staff at a workplace. With Cityflow, the company pays a monthly fee per bike and employees ride for free. Cityflow takes care of maintenance, charging, insurance, GPS and employee support. The bikes carry the company's brand and unlock from a phone.
Looking for bikes for your company's mobility plan without running the fleet yourself? Under Companies we explain how we do it: e-bikes in your brand at your workplace, run by Cityflow, and what Law 9/2025 on Sustainable Mobility requires.
What is corporate sharing?
Corporate sharing is a shared bike service just for a company's people. The bikes are at the workplace and staff take one when they need it. It's not one bike per person: several people use the same bike.
Cityflow provides it as a complete service. The company doesn't buy bikes or have to assign anyone to charge or repair them.
Who pays and how much does it cost?
The company pays. Cityflow charges a monthly fee per bike and employees ride for free, with no separate payments or downloads.
The fee depends on your workplace: the city, how many people work there, their shifts and how many bikes are needed. That's why it's on request. We give it to you in the proposal, in under 24 hours from when you tell us about your workplace.
What does Cityflow's service include?
| What | Who takes care of it |
|---|---|
| Bikes in your brand | Cityflow: your colours and your logo on every bike |
| Maintenance and repairs | Cityflow, with no invoices for breakdowns |
| Battery charging | Cityflow. If you'd like, also a charging station at your workplace |
| Insurance | Cityflow: every bike is insured |
| GPS | Cityflow: every bike has GPS |
| Employee support | Cityflow, in the employee's language |
| Monthly fee per bike | The company |
Your team never touches a bike. If anyone has a problem with a bike, they message Cityflow.
How does an employee use it?
With no app to download. The employee unlocks the bike from their phone, with Cityflow's WebApp, or with a QR code. They take it when they need it and leave it when they're done. Want to use your employee cards? Ask us.
Does it fit the commuting plan under Law 9/2025?
Law 9/2025 on Sustainable Mobility requires a sustainable commuting plan at every workplace with more than 200 workers, or 100 per shift (art. 26.1). It is mandatory from 5 December 2026.
Among the plan's solutions, article 26.3 cites active and shared mobility. Cityflow's bikes are pedal-assist, 250 W at most, and the Reglamento General de Vehículos (General Vehicle Regulations) classes them as cycles (annex II). The law includes the cycle in active mobility (art. 2.1.m) and mentions bike sharing (art. 2.1.w). It doesn't name the e-bike: this is a reading of those texts. Check your case with your adviser.
What the law requires, article by article, is in the guide to the sustainable commuting plan.
What data does the company receive?
The law requires a monitoring report within two years of the plan's approval, and another every two years (art. 26.2). For the bike measure, Cityflow gives you the data:
- trips;
- hours of use;
- time slots;
- aggregated destinations, with workplaces shown separately;
- and the distance of each trip, on bikes whose lock measures it.
We explain what each type of lock does in the guide to smart locks and IoT. Cityflow doesn't calculate CO₂. If your plan needs an emissions estimate, whoever drafts it makes one. How to measure the bike in the plan is covered in this article.
Should you run the fleet yourself or contract it?
| Buying and running your own fleet | Corporate sharing with Cityflow | |
|---|---|---|
| Bikes | The company buys them | Cityflow provides them, in your brand |
| Maintenance and charging | Your team or a provider you hire | Cityflow |
| Insurance | You take it out | Included |
| Employee support | Your team | Cityflow, in their language |
| Cost | The purchase plus operations | Monthly fee per bike, on request |
| For the employee | Whatever the company decides | Free |
If what you want is to set up and run your own fleet, that's a different product: Fleet OS, Cityflow's software for operators.
Where does Cityflow operate?
In 9 provinces: Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Seville, Málaga, the Balearic Islands (Palma de Mallorca), Biscay (Bilbao), Navarre (Pamplona) and Salamanca. If your workplace is in another province, ask us.

It doesn't name the e-bike: this is a reading of those texts. Check your case with your adviser.
