Be Casa by Greystar: the real case of a mobility rollout in flex-living

Be Casa and Greystar

Be Casa is Greystar's flex-living brand in Spain. Greystar also works with Cityflow at Nera Living and at Canvas, its student-residence brand.

At Be Casa, every bike carries the building's brand: they're black, with the Be Casa disc. The operation is Cityflow's: maintenance, charging, insurance, GPS and resident support.

The rollout

We worked on the rollout together: decals, set-up and communication to tenants.

What we learned together

For future flex-living rollouts, these are the keys:

  1. Make them visible: if the bike isn't seen, it isn't used. Best next to the main entrance.
  2. Initial communication: one notice isn't enough; send a welcome email and put up a poster next to the bikes.
  3. Branding personalisation: the more personalised the bike, the more it feels "mine" and the more it gets used.

Conclusion

The Be Casa case shows that a brand like Greystar can put the building's mobility in Cityflow's hands without losing control of its brand. And the model can be repeated in any flex-living building.
